If you've been to COPA conferences over the years you may have known my friend Robert Falotico, who created the excellent site www.worldwatchers.info, which compiled Mae Brussell radio shows and magazine pieces. He died this week, which came as a shock to all who knew him.
Rob was also affiliated for a time with Truthmove, bringing his remarkable intellect and judgment to bear on what became a crazy research scene in NYC. We had many long conversations about penetrating the veil of agents, idiots, and scoundrels surrounding the people of honest goodwill trying to get at the truth. We also had many conversations about Mexican food, and he would frequently plan for us to visit certain Dallas restaurants during November. He also shared my love of Werner Herzog, especially the documentaries, and we spent many hours trading thoughts on Herzog's style and recommending films to one another. At the 50th anniversary, in the chilling rain, he stood out with us and brought along shirts he had made for JJ and myself. Mine is still in my closet. He was unrelentingly positive, unerringly sharp, and strong in his support for both Mae and John Judge. He was also a wonderful friend who will be missed. It seems virtually impossible that he is gone.
