FICTION (COLLECTED STORIES)
For many years I wrote short fiction. My strongest influences in this regard are Flannery O'Connor, Jorge Luis Borges, Carlos Fuentes, John Barth, Cynthia Ozick, Franz Kafka, and of course Chekov. Which isn't to say these are any good; it might be I learned nothing. I will note that my story "Translation" appeared more than 20 years earlier then that Johnny Depp picture Transcendence.
I am also a playwright who has had several successful productions. You can get a collection of them as shown below, with all my full-length plays that have been produced and all of my one-act plays, some of which have been produced.
Cliff Jones Jr., author of the science fiction novel Dreck, also serves as a story editor for the 2024 dreampunk anthology Somniscope. My short story, "Signs Point to No," is included in this collection, which also contributions from other fantastic writers like Tessa Dick. Coming soon!

AFTERWORD (IN KENN THOMAS'S BOOK)
