Hi, I'm Joe. Thanks for checking out the site. I am a researcher and writer who has written a great deal about the hidden history of the United States. I also wrote and co-produced a documentary called King KIll 63 that featured Oliver Stone, Dick Gregory, Richard Belzer, Jesse Ventura, and a host of JFK researchers including John Judge, Joseph McBride, Jim DiEugenio, Dr. Cyril Wecht, and many others. I am also a playwright with several productions to my credit and occasionally produce short fiction.
On 2/28/2024, I made an appearance on Gerry Fialka's Innerviews. A terrific, wide-ranging conversation that was a lot of fun to do. The YouTube is below; the facebook link can be found here.
NEW! My article discussing the 60th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination has gone up at Jim DiEugenio's Kennedys and King website: Reflections on the 60th Anniversary of the Murder of President John F. Kennedy
My newest conversation has gone up on Out of the Blank with Robbie Robertson, along with my colleague Richard Bartholomew, author of THE DEEP STATE IN THE HEART OF TEXAS:

SOMNISCOPE
My short story, "Signs Point to No," is included in the anthology SOMNISCOPE, edited by Cliff Jones Jr., and which features many excellent authors. (One of them, Tessa Dick, reviewed my book DISSENTING VIEWS II more than a decade ago and invited me to speak on her program, ANCIENT OF DAYS, a couple of times. A science -fiction writer in her own right, she was married to one of my literary heroes, Philip K. Dick, near the end of his life and collaborated with him on A SCANNER DARKLY.)

"AS QUOTED IN THE NEW YORK TIMES..." How the heck did that happen?
Annie Kelly's article featuring SMiles Lewis of the Anomaly Archive appeared in the New York Times on August 4, 2023. Inside the article are references to Kenn Thomas's stellar book Trumpocalypse Now, for which I wrote the afterword, and also includes quotes from an interview with me from last year.
That interview is also going to be used for an upcoming series Annie is doing for the London Guardian. Link to "Even Conspiracy Theorists are Alarmed by What They've Seen." |
Discussion of Ockham's Razor
This is a link to a discussion between several international professors and research scientists about Ockham's Razor. My own essay, Dulling Ockham's Razor, is reproduced and cited in the course of the discussion in some detail. That essay appeared in my first book, DISSENTING VIEWS.
It's just kinda cool.

NEW BOOK:
TINFOIL HAT NOT INCLUDED My latest book has just dropped! It is an analysis of "conspiracy" both as a concept on its own and how it factors into "conspiracy theories," which - in the popular media - aggregate everything from Alex Jones/Qanon people, Bigfoot believers, and also serious political researchers. This is obviously wrong and obviously done with a purpose. Aimed at the general reader, I try to break these notions down in a reader-friendly way. |

I spoke in April 2023 (via Zoom) at the JFK Historical Group conference in Memphis, TN on the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King. I recently appeared on the Out of the Blank podcast with Professor David Denton, who is the person who puts on the conference. Link: https://youtu.be/XHnkHfs10SA |

"I congratulate you in having articulated in this and other writings so many aspects of the JFK assassination precisely correctly."
-VINCENT SALANDRIA, author of FALSE MYSTERY
"...Green appears just as eager to pick apart a weak argument from within the conspiracy community as one from without. In fact, the only overarching principle the author will rise to defend time and again is one that most would be forced to agree with: that it is natural for those of a level of wealth and political influence to seek to cooperate to protect their privileged status. What more is a conspiracy, after all? Reading Green is a treat for independent thinkers who may have forgotten for a spell that it really is the rest of the world that’s crazy."
-GREG HARMAN, ed., San Antonio Current
"[Green has] a rare ability to bring together numerous important disciplines (history, philosophy, religion, science, journalism, film) and use them all to offer succinct essays that get to the heart of major issues. He focuses on a few key, salient topics and explore them with acerbic wit and sharp political acumen."
-JOSEPH MCBRIDE, author of INTO THE NIGHTMARE and STEVEN SPIELBERG: A BIOGRAPHY
"Green discusses a broad range of literature and film, from nonfiction works to novels. He places Star Wars next to Key Largo and Saturday Night Fever to demonstrate the way Hollywood has molded our image in the minds of people around the world. He talks about Chinua Achebe's novel about colonialism in Africa, Things Fall Apart, in the same breath with The Autobiography of Malcolm X, and then he shows how they are related to Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness and the philosophy of Immanuel Kant."
-TESSA B. DICK, author of PHILIP K DICK: REMEMBERING FIREBRIGHT
“[DISSENTING VIEWS II] contains a superb essay on the The Parallax View…there are very interesting things in the book.”
-JIM DiEUGENIO, author of RECLAIMING PARKLAND, DESTINY BETRAYED, and THE ASSASSINATIONS
"Joseph Green produces several rather cool bookzines (zinebooks?) about the assassinations. Check them out!
-KENN THOMAS, Steamshovel publisher and author of TRUMPOCALYPSE NOW
"DISSENTING VIEWS II is a riveting, enjoyable, and well-written collection of essays and writings on a plethora of historical topics from the JFK assassination to Malcolm X to Osama Bin Laden...and a whole lot more...Highly recommended- get this one as soon as possible!"
-VINCE PALAMARA, Secret Service expert and author of SURVIVOR'S GUILT
"I stayed up late the day I got the book [DISSENTING VIEWS]. I just had to finish it...I do hope it reaches a wide audience."
-DR. DAVID MANTIK, author of JOHN F KENNEDY'S HEAD WOUNDS: A FINAL ANALYSIS
"Joe Green does an amazing job in this book. It is obvious that the information was gathered through much research. As another author of books about the Nov. 1963 coup I applaud him."
-A.J. WEBERMAN, author of Coup D'etat in America
